Market Wire, 03 April 2009
Orlando, FL
Life Settlement Review has announced its first annual list of the 10 most
influential people in the life settlement industry. The list appears in the April
issue of the monthly e-magazine, which features news, business briefs and expert
analysis of the secondary market for life insurance.
The ten people chosen represent various segments of the industry, but they all
have proven their power to change and influence others in this field. The editors
did not base their selection on factors such as past accomplishments and longevity
but rather on the individual's ability to alter and shape the current regulatory,
legislative and economic forces that guide this market.
Life Settlement Review asked its readers to nominate candidates who they felt
deserved this prestigious honor. Doug Head, executive director of the Life
Insurance Settlement Association (LISA), requested that his name be omitted from
consideration due to his position as publisher of Life Settlement Review. The
publication did not attempt to rank each member of the group in regards to their
level of influence. It aimed instead to highlight these individuals so that our
readers can learn more about the people who are widely recognized as leaders by
their peers.
